Jean Claude Desvaux de Marigny, born in Mauritius and educated at St. Joseph College in Curepipe. After many years spent in South Africa, where he nurtured his love for art, he discovered the medium of glass and fell in love with it, subsequently working and learning from well-known glass artists. He has a small art studio at Roches Noires from where he works from. A selection of handmade glass pieces, paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolors can be viewed on the gallery.
